B RANDY PEPPAPLANTA HAS FLOWN THE COOP

I'm sending out postcards of the third Berube-Bug to the following people; Laura Practer, R.F. Cote, Pascale Championner, Miguel Jimenez, Scott Ray Randall, Angela Behrendt, Rachel Freeman and the inspiration for B. Randy, Brandon Lacy Campos.

Since this months card has a bit more detail than the previous cards and I printed up the entire surface of each postcard without much additional if any decorative flourishes, I'm only going to post a few of the variations on here.

BERUBE-BUG #3 / B. RANDY PEPPAPLANTA - NEXT STEP

I just got done cutting and printing Mr. B. Randy a few minutes ago. Here are a few pics of the ongoing process with the exception of the final printed piece. That will have to wait until it dries.

Post cards being sent out will not have the complete image on them because of the actual size of the print in relation to the size of my post cards. Don't fret, you'll get the complete image of B. Randy, just not all of the type surrounding him.

BERUBE-BUG #3 / B. RANDY PEPPAPLANTA - LINO SKETCH

I know, I know, running way behind on this months bug, but ironically, so far, I've also received fewer bugs for this month than I have for the previous two months. I suspect part of that is due to the fact that the rest of the world enjoys lengthy vacations during this month while we Americans still live by the Puritanical work ethics our fine country was founded on. Needless to say, I'm ready for a real vacation.

In the meantime, while I get the opportunity, I'll fullfill my obligations as the crazed lino artist and get this guy cut out and printed ASAP. I'm also working on some more images for the stage production of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland of which you can check out on my OTHER blog.

PENCIL SKETCH ON LINO (SCAN)

I just realized that I'm showing you the image as it will look after being printed. It's been flipped horizontally, in actuality the writing is done backwards on the original lino.

I also discovered one more Screecher buried under the mound of crap on my desk, if you want him, he's up for grabs. It's best if you leave me a comment on here with your name and address. First come, first serve.
